The New Orleans Saints are going for option No. 2 on the veteran wide receiver market. Following the devastating torn Achilles Dez Bryant suffered days after signing with the Saints last week, they have now signed Brandon Marshall.
Veteran WR Brandon Marshall is signing a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, per source. In his 13-year NFL career, Marshall never has played in a playoff game; his chance now awaits.

Marshall, 34, was one of three receivers to take part in a workout with the Saints before they decided to add Bryant to the mix.
The six-time Pro Bowler recorded just 11 receptions for 136 yards and a touchdown in six games with the Seahawks before they released him earlier in the season.
It’s not yet known how much Marshall has left in the tank. He’s put up a total of 290 yards in 11 games over the past two seasons.
