James Conner is making national headlines these days for putting up crazy stats as the lead back for the Pittsburgh Steelers. But he means so much more than that to many people.
On Sunday in Cincinnati before the Steelers took on the Bengals, Conner took time out of his routine to visit with one such person. Check out this sweet exchange between the Steelers star and a young fan who just finished chemotherapy.

During his time at Pitt, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after tearing his MCL during the opening game of the 2015 season. He recovered from that knee injury and beat cancer.
Upon his return in 2016, still not nearly 100 percent healthy, he became an inspirational figure as he put up monster numbers before being signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers the next year.
