Twitter reacts to Bears coming up one yard short on Hail Mary

Bears

The Chicago Bears needed a 55-yard Hail Mary to force overtime against the New England Patriots on Sunday. They got a 54-yard completion, instead.

Mitchell Trubisky launched the ball towards the goal line. Kevin White emerged amidst a sea of Patriots with the ball, but he was one yard short. The New England defenders then brought him down before he could cross the goal line.

Twitter had a lot to say about the Bears being so close, but so far.

Certainly, this finish won’t soon be forgotten.
