To some in Oklahoma City and around the NBA, Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant will always be considered a snake. The memes and GIFS have pretty much not stopped since Durant bolted OKC for Oakland prior to the 2016-17 NBA season.
As someone who is well aware of the hate, Durant has in the past made a spectacle of himself with cupcake-like responses on social media.
This isn’t one of those times. Barstool Sports just recently posted a video of a snake on a golf course to its Instagram account. Like clockwork, Durant haters came out of the woodwork to mention him in said post.

Maybe showing himself to be a bit tougher than in the past, Durant trolled the trolls in an absolutely brilliant way.

That’s the way it should be. Durant is the two-time reigning NBA Finals MVP. He’s right up there with LeBron James as the best basketball player on the planet. Why care so much about social media and what fans think of you? Do your thing, and not think twice about it.
