As part of the Michigan team that was the runner-up in the 2018 NCAA Basketball Tournament, Moritz Wagner earned a ring. That ring did not impress his teammate with the Los Angeles Lakers, Josh Hart.
Hart got a hold of the ring and gave it a solid roasting.
“This weak-a** ring! … Thing weak as hell!” Hart said in a video posted on TMZ Sports. He specifically took aim at the diamonds, saying “They fake as hell! This is what happens when you a runner-up. This what you get!”
As a Villanova alum, Hart has some decent bragging rights here. He was out of college and with the Lakers when the Wildcats beat the Wolverines for the title in 2018. But he was on the Villanova team that won it all in 2016.
Clearly, he’s making full use of the bragging rights.
