Down in a big way, 21-3 against Notre Dame Saturday night, Michigan needed a jolt. Following a touchdown by the Fighting Irish, Ambry Thomas came through.

The speedy cornerback bolted 99 yards to the house to give the Wolverines new life.

This touchdown was huge in terms of momentum. Notre Dame had all of it at home before Thomas’ brilliant return. Afterward the stadium got pretty quiet, and suddenly the Wolverines could breathe a little bit, down 21-10.
