Twitter reacts to Steelers reportedly putting Le’Veon Bell on trade block

Just before the games began Sunday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter dropped a knowledge bomb on the NFL community, reporting the Pittsburgh Steelers are listening to trade offers for star running back Le’Veon Bell.

Bell has held out since the offseason. He was seeking a lucrative long-term deal at a price that the Steelers just haven’t been willing to pay. He’s now lost over $2.5 million in game-check money having failed to show up for the team’s first three games.

Earlier in this process when it became obvious Bell was not going to receive a long-term deal, his agent made it pretty clear that 2018 would be his last year in Pittsburgh.

Rather than deal with Bell coming back only when he absolutely has to in order to accrue another season in the NFL, the Steelers have apparently decided to sell while there’s still a market.

Not surprisingly, this news created a ton of reactions on social media. Here are some of the best ones we saw.
