The Willie Taggart era at Florida State has gotten off to a horrible start.
First it was a blowout loss at home against Virginia Tech in Week 1. Then in Week 2, FSU squeaked past Samford.
On Saturday, the Syracuse Orange absolutely trounced the FSU Seminoles, 30-7, making them look about as inept as we’ve seen in years.
This is especially salient to note because, before Saturday’s game, Cuse’s defense was on a pretty bad cold streak.
Apropos of nothing, Syracuse had surrendered 204 points to the previous four FBS teams it played.

FSU’s defense was just as bad as the offense. Syracuse easily cruised to 3-0 on the season while bumping the Seminoles to 1-2, and their fans had a tremendous time mocking the Seminoles late in the game.
