It’s a streak that seemed like it was never going to end, then it finally did on Saturday. For the first time in 364 days, a Michigan Wolverines receiver scored a touchdown.
During the Wolverines’ offensive struggles in 2017, wide receivers suffered the most. When Kekoa Crawford and Grant Perry each hauled in a touchdown on Sept. 9, 2017, it would be the last in a 13-game drought for Michigan’s wide receivers.
Finally, the streak ended on Saturday when sophomore wide receiver Nico Collins hauled in a 44-yard touchdown pass.
WR TD ALERT! WR TD ALERT! WR TD ALERT! And @umichfootball is rolling.
