Kneel and be blacklisted from the NFL. Admit to committing insider trading to take advantage of the market, and get a visit with an NFL team. That’s the narrative some will throw around following this stunning news.

On the heels of being arrested and charged with insider trading, former Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns linebacker Mychal Kendricks reportedly visited with the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.

That’s not even the craziest part of this story. Kendricks is set to plead guilty to the above-mentioned charges in December and faces up to 25 years in prison.

Do the Seahawks know something that we don’t? Possibly.

A second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2012, Kendricks started 74 games in six seasons with the team. He was vital to Philadelphia’s championship season before moving on to Cleveland as a free agent this past spring.

The Browns released Kendricks immediately after authorities charged him with insider trading.
