WATCH: Dustin Johnson chips in on 6th hole at PGA Championship

Dustin Johnson

Dustin Johnson was off to a slow start at the PGA Championship. But after missing the green on the par-three sixth, a beautiful wedge got things going in the right direction.

It was Johnson’s first birdie of the day and moved him to even-par for the round. He has a long way to go to chase down the five-under lead that Rickie Fowler established, but it’s a good step in the right direction.

Normally, DJ’s long drives are what get the attention, and rightfully so. But you don’t get to No. 1 in the world just by having a long drive.

As we saw here, Johnson’s short game can be pretty darn spectacular, as well.
