The New York Giants have reportedly finally paid star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. According to multiple media reports, the two sides have agreed on an extension that will pay OBJ $95 million over five seasons with a whopping $65 million in guarantees.
The #Giants and WR Odell Beckham Jr have agreed to terms on a 5-year extension worth a whopping $95M, source said. He gets the highest guarantee ever for a WR at $65M and averages $20M over the first 3 years. Nice job by the #NYG and agent Zeke Sandhu getting this done. Win/win?

Needless to say, Beckham is now the highest-paid wide receiver in the history of the NFL. He surpasses the deal Mike Evans signed with Tampa Bay this past spring. And it’s not close.
Having waited months for this news, Twitter itself had some pretty interesting reactions. Here’s the best among them.

Why Odell Beckham gotta buck n jive in the locker room like that after the contract extension? Expecially on camera? Don’t ever let them see you get like that for breaking bread, especially for what you’re worth.

Odell Beckham will make 65 million guaranteed. Antonio Brown makes 19 million guaranteed. That’s a 46 million dollar difference https://t.co/JD0O9Qlg4o
