Johnny Manziel took the field on Friday night for his CFL debut. An opportunity against his former team, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, seemed like the perfect chance for Johnny Football to put his talents on display.

It only took a few drives for Manziel to leave an impression on the CFL and send Twitter into chaos. Unfortunately for Manziel, that’s because his CFL debut got off to a disastrous start.

The Montreal Alouettes quarterback only needed 10 pass attempts for disaster to happen. Midway through the second quarter, Manziel threw three interceptions and was tied for second in tackles (two).

While it wasn’t the debut people expected, everyone on Twitter still had a blast with it.
