Raiders reportedly sign Pro Bowl CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie

The Oakland Raiders continue to look at every possible option to improve their pass defense heading into the 2018 season.

Having already added four veteran cornerbacks in free agency, the Raiders have now reportedly signed former Pro Bowler Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Released by the New York Giants this past spring, the 32-year-old Rodgers-Cromartie is coming off a career-worst 2017 campaign that saw him record 48 tackles with one pass defended and zero interceptions.

That came on the heels of a two-year stretch in which he combined for 34 passes defended and nine picks.

Despite this rather late signing, we would not be surprised if DRC started for the Raiders at some point this coming season. He had received some nice interest on the free agent market before signing with Oakland.
