Chargers’ Philip Rivers trolls Jalen Ramsey over QB comments

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers

There are some who are visibly upset over Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey’s take on quarterbacks in today’s NFL. Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate went to great lengths to defend his teammate, quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Having played in the NFL since Ramsey was nine years old, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers is not one of those people. He has no time for this millennial-type stuff.

Here’s his response to Ramsey saying the future Hall of Famer is “pretty good.”

That’s well done right there.

Rivers is not one to care what others think of him. It’s been that way since he replaced Drew Brees as the Chargers’ starting quarterback back in 2006. He’ll take Ramsey’s comments with the smallest grain of salt possible.

The good news for Rivers and Co.? He might be able to let his talking be done on the field. Both Los Angeles and Jacksonville are seen as division favorites. A playoff matchup between the two is not out of the question.
