Bill Belichick drops ‘trust the process’ line during press conference

Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots hasn't discussed a Malcolm Butler trade with the Saints yet

The Philadelphia 76ers and center Joel Embiid started the “Trust the Process” movement. The message has now spread to an unlikely NFL head coach.

During his press conference on Friday, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick dropped the three special words when talking about training camp and the work to prepare for the upcoming season.

“We’ve just got to keep stringing days together,” Belichick said, via The Boston Globe. “Take advantage of our opportunities to go out there and improve and trust the process.”

While Belichick likely didn’t intend to refer to the now famous TTP, the quote provided a great opportunity to hear the 66-year-old coach drop the trendy line. Just don’t expect him to get on  “SnapFace” or “InstantFace” and use the TTP hashtag.
