The 27-year-old enjoyed a breakout 2017-18 season with Denver. In 81 games, which included 40 starts, Barton set a career-high in points per game (15.7) and assists per game 4.1.
Denver entered the offseason with Barton and Nikola Jokic, two of their best players from last season, as free agents. Now it appears both will be retained for the coming years.
