New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is reportedly facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance enhancing substances policy, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Field Yates.

The suspension is under appeal, per the report.

Edelman missed the entire 2017 season with a torn ACL.

When healthy and on the field, the former seventh-round pick out of Kent State is one of Tom Brady’s favorite weapons in the passing game.

In 2016, Edelman caught 98 passes for 1,106 yards and three touchdowns. For his career, he’s hauled in 425 passes for 4,540 yards and 24 touchdowns.
