If you were watching the Indy 500 Sunday afternoon, you likely did a double-take midway through the race as Zach Veach was exiting Pit Lane.
Flames were dancing atop his car, and then when ABC went back to the replay it showed the car, and the pit crew, had been engulfed in flames for a moment.

Thankfully, Veach and his pit crew were okay, and the flames petered out quickly enough. Still, that was a frightening scene that could have potentially been a lot worse.
