WATCH: Aaron Judge nails runner at home with 100-mph laser

Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge

New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge is largely known for his massive power, which pitchers rightly fear. On Friday, the 26-year-old showed base runners a reason to fear him as well.

In the third inning with a runner on first and second with two outs, Judge ran into shallow right field to grab the baseball and fired a missile. The right fielder unleashed a 100-mph laser to nab Los Angeles Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun at home plate for the last out of the inning.

Los Angeles would challenge the play with an instant replay, but a review showed catcher Gary Sanchez tagged Calhoun’s foot before it touched home plate.

Judge’s throw is just another example of how dominant the young outfielder can be. Opposing teams have to respect him at the plate (watch this crazy shot from earlier this week) and in the field every time they face him.
