Twitter not kind to Cavaliers for getting crushed by Celtics in first half of Game 1

It’s only Game 1, and it’s only one half of play. But in this short amount of time what the Boston Celtics have managed to do to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers is nothing short of incredible.

The Celtics opened the game with a 36-18 advantage in the first quarter. They didn’t let up in the second quarter, finishing the first half up by an incredible 26 points, 61-35.

Led by second-year player Jaylen Brown and veteran Al Horford, the Celtics just lambasted their rival, throwing down the gauntlet in a huge way to get this series started with a bang.

Not surprisingly, Twitter was not kind to the Cavs for getting off to such a poor start.

But let’s not jump the gun too much. After all, this game isn’t over yet, and it’s a long series.
