Dak Prescott honors Jason Witten with respectful IG message

Thursday was an emotional day for Jason Witten and the Dallas Cowboys as he officially retired to join ESPN’s Monday Night Football crew.

The Cowboys won’t be the same without Witten, who’ll be on his way to the Hall of Fame soon enough. The ultimate professional, he embodied everything great about being an NFL star.

Speaking to this, young quarterback Dak Prescott honored his former teammate in a respectful Instagram post Thursday afternoon.

“From Idolizing You as Fan to a looking up to You as a Teammate! You’ve set the Example On & Off the Field. You Showed me What it Takes to Make it in this League & How to Represent the Star #theGOAT #ThankYou@realjasonwitten82

It’s going to be very interesting to see Dallas move on this upcoming season. In addition to Witten being gone, Dez Bryant is also no longer a member of the team. It’s all about Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and head coach Jason Garrett now, which may or may not be a good thing.
