While we normally wouldn’t call hitting a hole-in-one a bittersweet memory, Tony Finau hit one at the Masters Par 3 Contest that may be just that.
Finau aced the seventh hole and appeared to twist his ankle in the celebration.

The injury certainly looked bad.
The good news is that Finau remained on the course. Given the fun nature of the Par 3 Contest and that players don’t necessarily even want to win it (nobody has won the Par 3 Contest and the Masters in the same year), Finau certainly would have come off the course if he was seriously injured.
We can only hope that he’ll be good to go on Thursday. While he may not be the biggest name in the world, Finau has the game to compete at Augusta.
