Well after months of speculation and endless reports, Rob Gronkowski has confirmed via his Instagram account that he will play for the New England Patriots in 2018.
“I met with coach today and informed him I will be back for the 2018 season with the Pats,” Gronkowski wrote. “I have been working out, staying in shape and feel great. Looking forward to another championship run.”
Of course, Gronk himself got all the talk started when he would not commit to playing again following Super Bowl LII. Now he’s put all the rumors that he’ll go into acting or the WWE instead of football to bed.
When healthy, Gronkowski is one of the most dangerous offensive playmakers in the NFL. Last year, he caught 69 passes for 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns.
