Twitter reacts to George Springer hitting lead-off HR for second year in a row

Houston Astros center fielder George Springer hits a solo home run against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the third inning in game six of the 2017 World Series at Dodger Stadium.

Back in 2017, Houston Astros outfielder George Springer led off on Opening Day with a home run. Fast forward one year, and he’s done it again.

Just check out the opposite-field blast Springer had Thursday against Texas Rangers pitcher Cole Hamels.

Doing it once is pretty amazing. But twice in a row? That’s insane. Even better, this was his 100th career dinger.
