As the seconds trickled down in Loyola Chicago’s stunning Elite Eight win over Kansas State Saturday evening, one thing became rather apparent. Not only do the Ramblers have a real chance to win the national championship, team chaplain Sister Jean is becoming a true national treasure.
She was on hand in Philips Arena in Atlanta as Loyola handed the Wildcats a 78-62 loss en route to earning a trip to the Final Four.

We saw Sister Jean play the part of the most popular NCAA Tournament figure on Twitter earlier in the annual event. That’s now obviously going to be taken to a whole new level as Loyola prepares for a date against either Michigan State or Florida State next weekend.
