Richard Sherman looking to join team with a great QB

It looks like free agent cornerback Richard Sherman can scratch the Cleveland Browns off of his wish list of teams to play for. The recently released Sherman said he wants to play on a team that “has a great quarterback.”

There are lots of “good” quarterbacks in the league, but very few “great” ones. So, Sherman is likely interested in migrating to a franchise such as the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints or Green Bay Packers.

But the Patriots in particular, are a team that Sherman expressed interest in playing with last year. And, Sherman’s former Seahawks squad also left the door open for his return there. They have a gem of a quarterback in Russell Wilson.

This likely won’t be the last we hear from Sherman who apparently is not shy about expressing himself upon his release. His journey in free agency will be an intriguing one to follow. And one that will spark interest from multiple teams.
