Report: Packers sign Bears CB Kyle Fuller to an offer sheet

The Green Bay Packers are not messing around this free agency period. Fresh off adding tight end Jimmy Graham and defensive tackle Muhammad Wilkerson on deals this week, Green Bay is looking to poach cornerback Kyle Fuller from the Chicago Bears.

According to multiple media reports, Green Bay has signed the former first-round pick to an offer sheet.

After placing the little known transition tag on Fuller, Chicago now has five days to match the Packers’ offer. If said offer is not matched, Fuller heads to the Packers without the Bears receiving any compensation. Fuller’s transition tag was previously set to pay him nearly $13 million for the 2018 season. It’s safe to say that the Packers’ offer comes in north of that.

Fuller, 26, was a first-round pick of the Bears back in 2014. He recorded 68 tackles, 22 passes defended and two interceptions this past season.
