LOOK: Ravens announce Michael Crabtree signing with epic Twitter post

The Baltimore Ravens might have just won Twitter for the week. Fresh off reports that the team has signed Michael Crabtree to a three-year contract, the Ravens themselves took to social media to announce the deal.

Well, kinda.

Crab tree. Get it? Ha.

In all seriousness, the Ravens have to be feeling good about this signing. Crabtree averaged nearly 850 receiving yards and eight touchdowns during his three seasons with the Raiders. He also hauled in an average of 77 passes during that span.

Crabtree will immediately take over as Joe Flacco’s favorite target in the passing game, replacing the recently released Jeremy Maclin.

Let’s just hope this certain Maryland restaurant offers Crabtree crab cakes for life. After all, another receiver was given that chance earlier in the offseason, only to pass up on the opportunity. His name also starts with crab.

Yeah, we’ll show ourselves out.
