Colin Kaepernick question makes it onto Jeopardy

Colin Kaepernick is more famous nowadays for what he did to become anathema to NFL teams than for what he did on the field. What he did, of course, is begin a player protest around the league in 2016 in which he and others knelt during the national anthem to protest police brutality against people of color.

On Wednesday, this issue rose to the forefront on an episode of the popular game show, Jeopardy.

Kaepernick isn’t in the NFL any more and isn’t likely to land a job, though he is continually training still. It’s a source of frustration for many, while others are happy he’s out of the league.

He’s still reaching out to youth and people who are in need of help on a regular basis, and he recently finished handing out $1 million over the course of a year, as he previously pledged to do.
