Philly business buys three billboards begging LeBron James to join Sixers

LeBron James

Complete the Process. That’s the message one Philadelphia area business is sending to both the Philadelphia 76ers and superstar LeBron James, who could opt out of his contract to become a free agent this summer.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell shared pictures of three billboards that went up in Philly and were paid for by Power Home Remodeling, a local business.

“We’re passionate about Philadelphia,” said Asher Raphael, the company’s co-CEO, per Rovell. “We have an amazing city, it’s the best sports town and it’s an awesome place to live. We think the best athletes should want to play here. LeBron is in the conversation of being the best player of all time,” Raphael said. “We think if he comes to Philly, he gets a couple more championships.”

Rovell notes the three billboards are thought to be inspired by “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” the Academy Award-nominated film starring Frances McDormand and Woody Harrelson. It’s a pretty slick move, though it probably won’t amount to much.

Though James could certainly leave Cleveland, the latest reports indicate he might actually be more inclined to stay now that the team has a revamped roster capable of competing for another title. Also, if he does decide to leave, the prevailing wisdom is that James will join the Western Conference, rather than bounce to another team in the east.

Regardless, it’s going to be fascinating to see what James does this summer.
