Lonzo Ball will play for Lakers Friday for first time since mid-January

It’s been a while since the Los Angeles Lakers have been able to feature Lonzo Ball in their lineup. The rookie point guard has been out since Jan. 13 with a sprained MCL, and a lot has changed since then. On Friday, however, he’ll finally be back in action.

The Big Baller Brand Twitter account broke this news on Thursday.

The Lakers are coming back from the All-Star break having lost their last three games. Adding Ball to the mix could help them get out of that funk. Playing in 36 games this year, the rookie has averaged 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game.
