Kareem Hunt accused of pushing woman outside his apartment

Kareem Hunt continues to dominate early in his NFL career.

A woman has accused Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt of pushing her outside his apartment early Saturday morning.

Abigail Ottinger, 19, told police that Hunt pushed and shoved her around 3:45 a.m. Saturday outside his apartment, per the Cleveland Plain Dealer. However, there are two police reports filed in this matter, one showing Hunt as the suspect, and the other showing Ottinger as the suspect.

Another woman who was present when the altercation went down accuses Ottinger of assaulting her. The two women were with Hunt and one of his friends Saturday night traveling on a party bus that was bar-hopping in Cleveland.

Afterward, all four of them went to Hunt’s apartment, per the police report. At that time, according to Hunt’s friend, both young women were kicked out of the apartment when he discovered they were both 19 years old.

Ottinger disputes this, saying they were booted out because she “didn’t want” one of the men in the group. Hunt’s friend alleges Ottinger was outside the apartment for over 30 minutes pounding on the door.

Ottinger’s friend also says that “all the boys” began “chasing” Ottinger, the police report says. She alleges she tried to record it on her phone but had it taken and thrown away from her.

The entire incident is a he-said, she-said ordeal, with both sides claiming the other is in the wrong.

Hunt is coming off a fantastic rookie season with the Chiefs, during which he led the NFL in rushing with 1,327 yards, while rushing in eight scores.
