Iowa State OL Sean Foster arrested for being in bar while underage

Iowa State starting offensive right tackle Sean Foster, 20, was arrested Saturday for being in a bar while underage, per Dylan Montz of the Ames Tribune.

Foster was arrested on two counts — “minors prohibited on certain premises,” and “interference with official acts.” Both counts carried $300 bonds for a total of $600, which was paid upon his release from jail.

Per the report, Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell (recently inked to a huge six-year extension) won’t be issuing any statement about this arrest.

The 20-year-old offensive lineman is a guy the Cyclones will be counting on in a big way this upcoming season. He appeared in 10 games last year as a redshirt freshman, starting six at right tackle, including the final four games. He’s definitely in the running to be the starting right tackle once again in 2018 for the up-and-coming Big 12 program.
