Vance Joseph, Broncos build and give 110 bicycles to children from low-income families

When Vance Joseph became coach of the Denver Broncos, one of the things he wanted to do to give back to the community was supply children with bikes. On Wednesday, that goal became a reality.

Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post reported that Joseph “led his fellow coaches, staff members and some players and family members in building 110 bicycles for students through Wish for Wheels, a Colorado-based nonprofit that provides new bicycles to low-income communities.”

“It was fun to have a chance to actually build the bikes and then give them away,” Joseph said, per Jhabvala. “Half of doing community service is actually doing work, so it was fun to build them. We had 80 people there and it took us 45 minutes to build 110 bikes. Hopefully we can do more in the future, so that part was fun.”

Joseph and his team certainly has the right attitude here. He and his team did a great thing for a lot of people.
