Bill Belichick rips reporters for asking if he’ll coach Patriots in 2018

Bill Belichick is sick and tired of the continued questions from media about whether he’ll coach the New England Patriots in 2018. On Monday, less than 24 hours after the Patriots were stunned by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII, the coach lit into the media for its continued persistence on this topic.

In Belichick’s defense, he has made it clear he will “absolutely” be back coaching the Patriots next season, via NFL.com.

Owner Robert Kraft also has expressed confidence that Belichick will be the captain of the Patriots’ ship for the foreseeable future, along with quarterback Tom Brady as his first mate.

Yet Sunday before the Super Bowl, rumors continued to swirl that both Belichick and Brady might not come back in 2018 — a downright preposterous notion, if you ask me. This is especially true now that they didn’t win Super Bowl No. 6 together on Sunday.

No doubt, The Hoodie and Tom Terrific will once again be the guys America loves to hate next season. And no doubt, they’ll live up to expectations and be a top challenger to represent the AFC in Super Bowl LII.
