Report: Tom Brady dealing with ‘just a cut’ that required ‘four stitches around the knuckle’

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is dealing with some type of hand injury that he and his teammates declined to discuss with the media on Friday.

The injury is to his throwing hand, which has created all kinds of fuss. With everybody eager to find out more details, this report from Mike Felger, via James Stewart of 98.5 the Sports Hub, sheds some light on Brady’s injury.

This is good news that, reportedly, there are no cracks or tears to Brady’s hand. It stands to reason that a cut with some stitches will not likely hamper his production too much in Sunday’s game.

Brady has played through multiple minor injuries throughout his career, and not much holds him back. He will be facing a Jaguars defense that gave up five passing touchdowns to Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the Divisional Round last week.

This Sunday marks the 36th postseason game Brady has played in his 18-year career.
