WATCH: Josh Gordon dominating early, scores touchdown

Josh Gordon

It didn’t take Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon long to make an impact in his second game back from suspension.

First, Gordon caught this 38-yard pass from rookie DeShone Kizer on Cleveland’s first possession of the game against Green Bay Sunday afternoon.

Gordon does a tremendous job finding open grass in between Packers defensive backs. That’s how you beat a lackluster defense.

But Gordon wasn’t done there. Later on the very same drive, the Browns’ best offensive player caught this 18-yard touchdown from Kizer.

That’s just a brilliant catch over the middle. As you can see, Gordon went up and got the ball in between multiple Packers defenders. It’s something you simply can’t teach.

This represents Gordon’s first touchdown since December of 2013. He was suspended for the entire 2015 and 2016 campaigns for multiple violations of the NFL substance abuse policy.

If Gordon can keep it together off the field, he’ll become one of the best receivers in the NFL once again. Remember, this former Baylor star led the league in receiving yards back in 2013.
