We’re not totally sure what Andy Dalton saw on this play. What we do know is that this pass couldn’t have gone much worse for the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback.
Dalton threw the ball into a sea of purple jerseys. Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks came away with the interception, and sprinted to the end zone.

The touchdown and ensuing PAT put Minnesota up 14-0.
We can only hope that someone asks Dalton what he thought he saw on this pass.
