All is apparently not forgiven in Pittsburgh Steelers land. A day after veteran pass rusher James Harrison signed with the New England Patriots after 14 seasons in Pittsburgh, Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey is letting his feelings known.

And he’s not holding back.

“It blows my mind,” Pouncey said. “James Harrison wanted out. It’s funny to read the stories like…this is something he wanted to do. It’s not like they (Steelers brass) got together and ‘we’re going to cut James.’ That’s not what happened.”

Pouncey went on to indicate that Harrison needs to man up and say that this is what happened. He also called out his former teammate for ruining his legacy by signing with the Patriots.

That’s all fine and dandy. There’s clearly some hurt feelings here. But Harrison had been inactive for a vast majority of the season despite putting up good pass-rush numbers. He’s in the latter stages of his career and wanted to contribute. He was also released by the Steelers.

If that’s an issue for Pouncey, we’re not exactly too sure what to tell him.

It will, however, make for a very interesting storyline should these two teams meet up in the AFC Championship Game.
