Broncos’ Trevor Siemian knocked out of game with shoulder injury

To say that the Denver Broncos’ quarterback situation has not gone too swimmingly this season would be an understatement. The team entered its Week 15 game against Indianapolis with a 4-9 record and having seen its signal callers combine for 15 touchdowns compared to 18 interceptions on the season.

It didn’t get too much better Thursday night in Indianapolis. After throwing an interception on his team’s first possession of the game, Trevor Siemian had to leave with what’s being described as a left shoulder injury.

The team is officially listing him as questionable to return.

In a sentence that could bring nightmares to Mile Hile during the holiday season, Brock Osweiler took over under center. He’s only active because another struggling signal caller, Paxton Lynch, is injured.

To make matters worse for a Denver team that simply needs to restart its engines, the Colts lead 7-0 early in the second quarter.

But don’t worry, John Elway has his dup cup in the stadium.

That will surely make things better.
