The New England Patriots went three-and-out on their first offensive drive of the game Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Backed up well into their own territory, rather than punt it away the Patriots roasted their divisional rival with a successful fake punt.

This is what we call a serious case of disrespect. Obviously the Pats weren’t concerned in the least about Miami’s offense, should the fake not work.
Not long afterward, New England’s offense exploded to turn this second chance into points when Rex Burkhead ran it in from a few yards out to put the Patriots up 7-0.
