We also have to wonder what exactly happened to the Denver Broncos’ defense on this play. It shouldn’t have been that clear of a path to the end zone for Ajayi once he got through the front seven.
Whatever caused it, we’re quite sure Philadelphia is happy with the result. Ajayi finished the first half with 69 yards rushing on five carries. His score put the Eagles up 31-9.
