The Indianapolis Colts are a team that would certainly accept a do-over for the 2017 season if that was an option. Riding last place in the AFC South with a 3-6 record, Colts players do not have much to smile about these days.
Cornerback Vontae Davis, in particular, is not a happy camper by the tone of this recent comment.

Davis is currently battling a groin injury and has played in just five of the Colts games this season. That for one can be frustrating for any player. But, the Colts losing more than they are winning is likely weighing in heavily on Davis’ current mindset.
Davis has been with the Colts since 2012, which was the year Indianapolis selected quarterback Andrew Luck No. 1 overall. After three stellar years from 2012-14, the Colts have been on the downtick since. And for his part, Davis was reportedly on the trade block leading up to the deadline earlier this month.
Davis is part of a Colts defense that is currently giving up the most yards and points per game on the season. It is understandable that Davis is disgruntled being part of a team that has little hope for the remainder of 2017.
Davis is signed with Indianapolis only through 2017. And by the sounds of his comments, it would appear that Davis might be looking to move on to greener pastures in 2018.
As a Colt, Davis has recorded 13 interceptions, defended 75 passes and tallied 265 combined tackles. He will turn 30 next May.
