Teddy Bridgewater has ‘everyone raving’ about his arm strength

Teddy Bridgewater will be one of the biggest bargains among NFL free agents

What does a young quarterback like Teddy Bridgewater do when he’s unable to use his legs? Why, he develops a stronger arm, of course.

That’s the story Tom Pelissero of NFL Network is hearing from Minnesota Vikings players and coaches. He asked receiver Adam Thielen whether Bridgewater is throwing the ball the same as he was before his awful injury, to which Thielen replied, “I think better, honestly.”

“Everybody’s been raving about Bridgewater’s arm strength since he was back in the rehab phase before he was even practicing. Thielen said he’s been looking confident, he’s having fun, he seems to have some new perspective…”

Bridgewater is going to be active Sunday as the Vikings take on the Washington Redskins as the backup to Case Keenum. The Vikings are not rushing the quarterback into action, and it certainly helps that Keenum has played so well in recent weeks.

But if Keenum were to get injured, then Bridgewater will step in. And based on what his teammates are saying about him, he’s ready.
