Leonard Fournette admits he hates taking hits in cold weather

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Leonard Fournette

Week 11 takes the Jacksonville Jaguars out of their warm Florida weather and sends the team to chilly Cleveland, Ohio.

Already dreading playing in the snow and sleet forecasted for Sunday, rookie running back Leonard Fournette minced no words about how he feels about taking hits in the cold, per ESPN’s Jordan Zirm.

The weather forecast for Cleveland when the Jags take on the Browns Sunday is 37 degrees with snow flurries, so it will be darn cold this weekend.

But, all football players have to deal with the cold temperatures the latter months of the NFL season bring.

As for Fournette, he is still on the injury report as questionable to play due to a lingering ankle injury. If he happens to be ruled out, running backs Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon will cover in Fournette’s absence.
