For the first time since 2014, former Miami Dolphins first-round pick Dion Jordan will take to an NFL field. The Seattle Seahawks, who signed him this past offseason, have activated the Oregon product from the Non Football Injury List ahead of Thursday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
#Seahawks activated DE Dion Jordan to the 53-man, placing OT Rees Odhiambo on IR. Jordan is another player to make it back from banishment.

Jordan, 27, was suspended the entire 2015 season for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy multiple times. He then missed last year to injury. Jordan is mostly known for being the player Miami yielded a first and second-round pick to move up for during the 2013 NFL Draft.
The former No. 3 overall pick recorded just three sacks in 26 games for the Dolphins.
As Ian Rapoport noted, the Seahawks also placed offensive lineman Rees Odhiambo on injured reserve. He started the first seven games of the season at left tackle prior to Seattle acquiring Pro Bowler Duane Brown during the trade deadline earlier this month.
