The Cleveland Browns were treated to rookie DeShone Kizer’s best game of the season Sunday against the Detroit Lions, and then he got hurt.
Quandre Diggs came off the edge on a blitz and hit Kizer right in the rib cage area, and the quarterback stayed down for a while.

Trainers came out onto the field before helping him off of it, and Cody Kessler replaced him.
Before exiting the game, Kessler had completed 15-of-24 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown. He has also rushed for 57 yards and a score, and the Browns were tied, 24-24, at the time of his departure.
