Tennessee’s Rashaan Gaulden flips double bird to ‘Bama fans, down by 22 points

Tennessee Rashaan Gaulden

Tennessee finally scored its first points in the third quarter when Tua Tagovailoa had his pass intercepted by Daniel Bituli, who went 97 yards to the house. In the aftermath of that score, Rashaan Gaulden flipped the double bird to Alabama fans in the stands, which was just asinine.

Regardless of the circumstances, this is wrong. But it’s one thing to talk trash or pull a stunt like this when you go into another team’s house and win in a blowout or something. To do this when your team is down by 22 points is something that is absolutely inexcusable.

Butch Jones, who is already on the thinnest ice possible as the head coach of Tennessee’s football program, clearly has lost control of his team.
