Myles Garrett will play in Week 5 against the Jets

Myles Garrett should help the Browns' defense big time as a rookie.

The Cleveland Browns will feature first-round pick, defensive end Myles Garrett, for the first time this season on Sunday. Garrett has been on the mend from a high ankle sprain he suffered prior to Week 1.

As we can see from Garrett’s comment here, he is thrilled to join his team in action.

“It is exciting,” Garrett said, via quotes distributed by the team (h/t Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk). “I am ready to play, ready to show what I can do.”

Even though Garrett will suit up, the Browns still plan to limit his snaps according to the report. Garrett also said he is not quite at his “peak,” per PFT.

Either way, the winless Browns can use any helpful hands on deck they can find when they host the New York Jets on Sunday. Might Josh McCown be the first quarterback Garrett sacks? Fans will surely be watching with anticipation while they patiently wait for the team to gain its first win.
